Absolutely no cars at camp. This rule is set down by CS CY WS to allow the presence of outsiders to be easily monitored at camp, and is necessary for the safe running of camp.
Senior Council are there as leaders, but not to take over from the Y10s. Support them at all times without being the dominant force.
Senior Council are there to support the camp staff – you are their equals now. Senior Council should be involved in running the camp, especially cooking, cleaning, dishes etc. (Sunbathing while staff are working is a big no no).
LA is in charge of Senior Council at all times. If in doubt, ask her.
LAwill be provided with a daily envelope containing special instructions for the day. This will provide a new focus for each day.
Transport: The transport arrangements are complicated this year by several exams running during camp week, HBHG interviews on Wednesday, and Dennis having an exemption from attending the second half of camp from WT so that he can attend Mau Rakau grading.
